Crock pot meat loaf


A lot of people do not believe how awesome meat loaf can turn out in a crock pot. It is so tasty and moist. Put your potatoes and carrots in with it and you have a complete meal (meat, starch and vegetable :-)

Ingredients needed:

* 1 egg
* 1/4 cup of milk
* 2 slices of day old bread, cubed
* 1/2 cup of finely chopped onion
* 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
* 2 tablespoons of green pepper (finely chopped)
* 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef
* 1/4 cup of ketchup
* 1 bag of baby carrots
* 8 small red potatoes

Preparation steps:

* In a large bowl, beat egg and milk. Stir in the bread cubes, onion, green pepper, salt and pepper. Add the beef and mix well. Shape into a round loaf. Place in crock pot. Spread ketchup on top of loaf. Arrange carrots around loaf. Place potatoes over carrots.
* Cover and cook on low for 8 hours.

Crockpot roast beef recipe

Crockpot roast beef recipe


This is such a simple way to make roast beef and gravy. So easy and so delicious.
Serve with some mashed tomatoes and creamed corn and it makes a yummy meal :-)

Ingredients needed:

* 1 boneless beef chuck roast (approximately 3 pounds)
* 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup
* 1/2 cup of beef broth
* 1 envelope of onion soup mix

Preparation steps:

* Cut roast in half; place in crockpot. In a large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Pour over roast.
* Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.

Crockpot pepper steak


Ingredients needed:

* 1 1/2 pounds beef top round steak
* 2 tablespoons of canola oil
* 1 cup of chopped onion
* 1/4 cup soy sauce
* 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
* 1 garlic clove, minced
* 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger
* 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
* 1 large green pepper, cut into strips
* 1 can of diced tomatoes, undrained
* 1/2 cup of water
* Hot cooked noodles or rice

Preparation steps:

* Cut beef into 3 inch by 1 inch strips. In a large skillet, brown beef in oil. Transfer to crockpot. Combine the onion, soy sauce, garlic, sugar, salt, ginger and pepper. Pour over the beef. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours. Add tomatoes and green pepper; cook on low for 1 hour longer.

* Combine cornstarch and cold water until smooth; gradually stir into crockpot. Cover and cook on high for 30 minutes until thickened. Serve with noodles or rice.

Coconut chicken in a crockpot

Coconut chicken in a crockpot



I love this coconut chicken recipe. The meat is so tender and delicious.

Ingredients needed:

* 2 medium potatoes (peeled and cubed)
* 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
* 1 small onion, chopped
* 1 cup light coconut milk
* 3 teaspoons curry powder
* 1 teaspoon of chicken bouillion granules
* 1 garlic clove, minced
* 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
* 2 cups of hot cooked rice
* 1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
* 2 tablespoons of raisins and 2 table spoons of unsalted peanuts

Preparation steps:

* Place potatoes and onion in the crockpot. In a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray, brown chicken on both sides.

* Transfer to crockpot. In a small bowl, combine the coconut milk, curry, garlic, bouillon, salt and pepper. Pour over the chicken. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.

* Serve chicken and sauce with rice. Sprinkle with green onions, Spread the raisins and peanuts on top.
