Baked Ginger Apples Crockpot Recipe



Ingredients needed:

* 4 large Red Delicious apples
* 1/2 cup of melted butter
* 1/3 cup of macadamia nuts
* 1/4 cup of chopped dried apricots
* 2 tablespoons of finely chopped crystalized ginger
* 1 tablespoon of dark brown sugar
* 3/4 cup of brandy
* 1/2 cup of vanilla pudding and pie filling mix
* 2 cups of heavy cream

Preparation steps:

* Slice tops off apples; remove cores. Combine butter, nuts, apricots, ginger and brown sugar in medium bowl. Fill apples with nut mixture. Transfer to crockpot. Pour brandy over apples. Cover; cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
* Gently remove apples from crockpot with slotted spoon; cover with foil to keep warm.
* Combine pudding mix and cream in small bowl. Add to cooking liquid in crockpot; mix well. Cover, cook on high for 30 minutes. Stir until smooth. Return apples to crockpot; keep warm until ready to serve with warm cream sauce.

Chicken Marsala Wings Crockpot Recipe



Ingredients needed:

* 1 can of diced tomatoes and green chiles
* 1 can of tomato sauce
* 1 cup of coconut milk
* 1 small jalapeno, seeded and finely chopped
* 3 teaspoons of garam masala
* 2 teaspoons of chopped garlic
* 2 teaspoons of ginger spice blend
* 1/4 cup of butter
* 1/4 teaspoon of kosher salt
* 2 1/2 pounds of chicken wings, tips removed
* 1/3 cup of plain yogurt
* 3/4 cup of cashews, chopped
* Canola oil cooking spray

Preparation steps:

* Coat crockpot with cooking spray; set aside.
* In a large bowl, stir together tomatoes, tomato sauce, coconut milk, jalapeno, 2 teaspoons of the garam marsala, the garlic, and ginger until combined. Pour into crockpot. Add butter.
* Cover and cook on low for 2 hours.
* About 15 minutes before the sauce is done, preheat broiler. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil; set aside. In a small bowl, combine the remaining garam masala and the salt. Sprinkle wings with spice mixture. Place chicken wings on baking sheet. Broil for about 10 minutes or until skin is tender and begins to crisp. Turn once in the middle.
* Stir sauce in crockpot and add wings. Stir gently to coat wings with sauce. Cover and cook on high for 2 1/2 hours.
* Transfer wings to a serving platter. Skim off any fat from the top of the sauce; stir in yogurt until smooth. Spoon sauce over wings; sprinkle with chopped cashews.
* Serve and enjoy.

Coconut Seafood Stew Crockpot Recipe



Ingredients needed:

* 1 can of light coconut milk
* 1 can of baby corn, drained
* 8 ounces of bottled clam juice
* 4 medium red potatoes, quartered and boiled
* 1 cup of dry white wine
* 1 jar of green curry sauce (4 ounces)
* 1/2 cup of fresh sweet basil leaves
* 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic
* 1/2 teaspoon of freshly ground black pepper
* 1 pound of shrimp, peeled
* 4 cooked king crab legs, split, each approximately 6 inches long
* 12 steamer clams
* 8 large mussels, scrubbed and beards removed
* Kosher salt

Preparation steps:

* In crockpot, stir together coconut milk, corn, clam juice, potatoes, wine, curry sauce, basil, garlic, and black pepper.
* Cover and cook on low for 7 hours
* Turn crockpot to high. Stir in shrimp, crab legs, clams, and mussels. Cover and cook for 30 minutes more and clams and mussels have opened. Remove and discard any clams or mussels that have not opened.
* Season with desired amount of salt to taste.

Ingredients needed:

* 1 1/4 pounds chicken tenders, cut into bite-sized pieces
* 1 1/2 cups of diced potatoes
* 1 1/2 cups of chicken broth
* 1 can of cream-style corn
* 1 can of cream of chicken soup (I prefer Campbell's brand)
* 1 can of diced mild green chiles
* 1/2 cup of frozen chopped onions
* 2 teaspoons of chopped garlic
* 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
* 1/2 cup half-and-half
* Chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

Preparation steps:

* In crockpot, stir together chicken, potatoes, chicken broth, corn, chicken soup, chile peppers, onions, garlic, and cumin until combined.
* Cover and cook on high for 3 1/2 hours
* Stir in half-and-half. Spoon into bowls and sprinkle with cilantro if desired.

Blue Cheese Chicken Crockpot Recipe

Blue Cheese Chicken Crockpot Recipe



Ingredients needed:

* 2 cups of frozen broccoli and cauliflower
* 1 medium onion, halved then quartered
* 1 cup of chicken broth
* 1/3 cup of butter, softened
* 2 tablespoons of dried chives
* 2 teaspoons and 1 tablespoon of chopped garlic
* 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
* 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
* 1 packet of garlic and herb seasoned coating mix
* 1 can of white sauce
* 1 cup of crumbled blue cheese

Preparation steps:

* In crockpot, combine frozen vegetables and onions. Pour 1/4 cup of the chicken broth over vegetables. In a small bowl, stir together butter, chives, 2 teaspoons of the garlic, and the lemon juice until combined; set aside.
* Place chicken breasts on a cutting board and cover them with plastic wrap. Using a meat mallet, gently pound chicken until 1/3 inch thick. Spread 1/4 of the butter mixture in an even layer on top of each pounded breast. Roll each breast from one end toward the other, enclosing butter mixture. If necessary, secure rolls with wooden toothpicks.
* Pour coating mix into a pie plate. Roll chicken rolls in coating mix until well coated. Place rolls on top of vegetables in crockpot.
* Cover and cook on low for 2 hours.
* In a medium sized bowl. whisk together the remaining 3/4 cup of chicken broth, the remaining 1 tablespoon of garlic, and white sauce until smooth. Stir in blue cheese. Pour over the chicken and vegetables in crockpot.
* Cover and cool on low for 1 1/2 hours longer. Remove toothpicks, serve and enjoy.

(Note: I had received inquiries on white sauce in previous recipes. You can make your own white sauce by just mixing together the following ingredients):

•2 tablespoons butter (melted)
•2 tablespoons flour
•1 cup milk
• salt
• white or black pepper

White sauce is another name for Béchamel. Hope that helps.

Ingredients needed:

* 1 1/4 cup of shredded Swiss or mozzarella cheese, divided
* 1 cup of ricotta cheese
* 1 teaspoon of dried oregano
* 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
* 1 container of Alfredo pasta sauce (approximately 10 ounces)
* 1/3 cup of water
* 4 no-boil lasagna noodles
* 1 package of frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
* 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
* 1 1/2 cups of cooked diced chicken
* Red pepper flakes, for garnish

Preparation steps:

* Combine 1 cup cheese, ricotta, oregano and pepper flakes in small bowl; set aside. Blend Alfredo sauce with water; set aside.
* Coat crockpot with nonstick cooking spray. Break 2 lasagna noodles in half and place on bottom. Spread half of ricotta mixture over noodles. Top with half of spinach. Arrange half of chicken and half of Parmesan over spinach. Pour half of Alfredo mixture over top. Repeat layers, beginning with noodles and ending with Alfredo mixture. Cover; cook on low for 3 hours.
* Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup of Swiss cheese on top. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. To serve, cut into squares or wedges. Garnish with pepper flakes, if desired.

Chicken Parmesan Over Spaghetti Crockpot Recipe



Ingredients needed:

* 8 ounces of mushrooms, sliced
* 1 medium onion, cut into thin wedges
* 1 tablespoon of olive oil
* 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
* 1 jar of pasta sauce
* 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil
* 1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano
* 1 bay leaf
* 1/2 cup of shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
* 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
* Hot cooked spaghetti

Preparation steps:

* Place mushrooms and onion into crockpot.
* Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat until hot. Lightly brown chicken on both sides. Place chicken into crockpot. Pour pasta sauce over chicken; add basil, oregano, and bay leaf. Cover; cook on low for 7 hours or on high for 3 1/2 hours. Remove and discard bay leaf.
* Sprinkle chicken with cheeses. Cook, uncovered, on low for 20 minutes or until cheeses have melted.
* Serve over spaghetti and enjoy.
