Caribbean Shrimp with Rice Crockpot Recipe



Ingredients needed:

* 1 package (12 ounces) frozen shrimp, thawed
* 1/2 cup of fat-free, reduced sodium chicken broth
* 1 clove of garlic, minced
* 1 teaspoon of chili powder
* 1/2 teaspoon of salt
* 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano
* 1 cup of frozen peas, thawed
* 1/2 cup of diced tomatoes
* 2 cups of cooked long-grain white rice

Preparation steps:

* Combine shrimp, broth, garlic, chili powder, salt and oregano into crockpot. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours.
* Add peas and tomatoes. Cover and cook on low for 5 minutes. Stir in rice. Cover and cook on low for 5 minutes longer.
