Ingredients needed:
* Nonstick cooking spray
* 2 packages of frozen cut green beans (9 ounces each)
* 1 1/2 cups of chopped red sweet peppers (2 medium)
* 1 container of refrigerated light Alfredo pasta sauce (10-ounce)
* 1 cup of chopped onion (1 large)
* 1 can of sliced water chestnuts, drained (8-ounce)
* 1/4 teaspoon of garlic salt
* 1/2 cup of Parmesan-flavor croutons, slightly crushed (optional)
Preparation steps:
* Lightly coat the inside of the crockpot with cooking spray; set aside.
* In a large bowl, combine frozen green beans, sweet peppers, Alfredo sauce, onion, water chestnuts, and garlic salt. Transfer mixture into crockpot.
* Cover and cook on low for 5 1/2 hours or on high for 2 1/2 hours. Use a slotted spoon for serving.
* If desired, sprinkle each serving with crushed croutons.
