Tender Beef Brisket Crockpot Recipe
Ingredients needed:
* 1 fresh beef brisket (4 lbs.)
* 1 can of tomato sauce (15 oz.)
* 1 bottle of beer or non-alcoholic beer
* 1 cup of chopped green pepper
* 2/3 cup of chopped onion
* 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
* 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar
* 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
* 2 teaspoons of prepared mustard
* 1 teaspoon of salt
* 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
* 1/2 teaspoon of pepper
Preparation steps:
* Cut brisket into thirds; place into crockpot. In a large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; pour over beef.
* Cover and cook on low for 8 to 9 hours or until the meat is tender.
* Thinly slice meat across the grain.
