Apple Pecan Bread Pudding Crockpot Recipe

Ingredients needed:

* 1 loaf of cinnamon bread, cut into 1 inch cubes (16 ounces)
* Canola oil cooking spray
* 1 21-ounce can of apple pie filling
* 1 can of evaporated milk
* 1 1/2 cups of chopped pecans
* 1 1/2 cups of heavy cream
* 3 eggs
* 3/4 cup of packed brown sugar
* 1/2 teaspoon of ground allspice
* 2 tablespoons of butter, cut into tiny pieces
* 3/4 cup of caramel topping
* 2 tablespoons of bourbon
* Whipped dessert topping, thawed
* A dash of salt

Preparation steps:

* Coat crockpot with cooking spray. In a large bowl, stir together bread, pie, filling, and pecans until combined.
* In a medium bowl, stir together evaporated milk, cream, eggs, brown sugar, allspice, and salt until combined. Pour over bread mixture; stir gently until bread is saturated. Pour into crockpot and spread butter pieces throughout.
* Cover and cook on low for 3 1/2 hours.
* In a small bowl, stir together caramel topping and bourbon. Microwave on high for 1 to 2 minutes. Serve bread pudding topped with caramel-bourbon sauce and whipped topping.
