Country Boil Crockpot Recipe



Ingredients needed:

* 12 small red potatoes (1 1/4lb)
* 10 cups of water
* 1 can or bottle of regular or nonalcoholic beer (12 oz)
* 4 to 5 tablespoons seafood seasoning
* 2 stalks of celery, cut into 4-inch pieces
* 1 onion, cut into quarters
* 2 lemons, cut in half
* 1 lb. of cooked kielbasa sausage, cut into 1-inch slices
* 6 frozen corn on the cob, cut into 3-inch slices
* 2 lbs. of uncooked large shrimp in shells, thawed
* Cocktail sauce, optional

Preparation steps:

* Spray crockpot with cooking spray. Place potatoes into crockpot. Add water, beer, seafood seasoning, celery and onion. Squeeze lemons over mixture in crockpot; add lemon halves.
* Cover and cook on low for 3 hours. Add sausage and corn. Cover and cook for two hours longer.
* Increase heat to high. Add shrimp; stir gently. Cover and cook for 15 minutes or until shrimp are pink. Turn off crockpot; let stand for 15 minutes. Drain.
* Serve with cocktail sauce if desired.
