Oriental Beef Brisket Crockpot Recipe
Ingredients needed:
* 1 pound baking potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
* 1 pound sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces
* 3 to 3 1/2 pound fresh beef brisket
* 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
* 1/2 cup of salsa
* 2 tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca
* 2 cloves of garlic, minced
Preparation steps:
* Place baking potatoes and sweet potatoes in crockpot. Trim fat from meat. Place meat on top of the potatoes. In a small bowl, combine hoisin sauce, salsa, tapioca, and garlic. Pour sauce mixture over meat; spread evenly.
* Cover and cook on low for 10 hours. For faster cooking time, cook on high for 5 hours.
* Remove meat from crockpot and place on a cutting board. Slice meat across the grain. Arrange meat slices on a serving platter. Serve with potatoes and hoisin mixture. If desired, garnish with silvered green onions.
