Italian Sausage and Vegetables Crockpot Recipe

Ingredients needed:

* 1 1/4 lbs. of sweet or hot Italian turkey sausage links
* 1 can of diced tomatoes, undrained (28 oz.)
* 2 medium potatoes, cut into 1-inch pieces
* 4 small zucchini, cut into 1-inch pieces
* 1 medium onion, cut into wedges
* 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
* 1/4 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes
* 1/4 teaspoon of dried oregano
* 1/4 teaspoon of dried basil
* 1 tablespoon of dry bread crumbs
* 3/4 cup of shredded pepper jack cheese

Preparation steps:

* In a nonstick skillet, brown sausages over medium heat. Place into crockpot. Add vegetables and seasonings.
* Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
* Remove sausages and cut into 1-inch pieces; return to crockpot. Stir in bread crumbs.
* Serve in bowls; sprinkle with cheese.
