Pecan-Cinnamon Pudding Cake Crockpot Recipe

Ingredients needed:

* 1 1/3 cups of all-purpose flour
* 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
* 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
* 1 1/2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon
* 2/3 cup of milk
* 5 tablespoons of butter or margarine, melted, divided
* 1 cup of chopped pecans
* 1 1/2 cups of water
* 3/4 cup of packed brown sugar
* Whipped cream, optional

Preparation steps:

* Coat crockpot with nonstick cooking spray or butter. Combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Add milk and 3 tablespoons of butter; mix just until blended. Stir in pecans. Spread on bottom of crockpot.
* Combine water, brown sugar and remaining 2 tablespoons of butter in small saucepan; bring to a boil. Pour over batter in crockpot. Do not stir.
* Cover and cook on high for 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Let stand, uncovered, 30 minutes, then place on serving plate.
* Serve warm with whipped cream, if desired
